Eliza and Caleb both grew up in the mountains (Park City for Eliza and Tahoe area Caleb) but met in Hawaii. The date August 11, 2018 held significance to them: new moon in Leo, partial solar eclipse and Perseid meteor shower. Caleb wanted a date with maximum star visibility and Eliza wanted warm weather. Their wedding was more hootenanny with live music (they fell in love at a Phish concert), less traditional, right in the meadow near the mountains. They loved maps, star maps, old atlases, are both bio-dynamic farmers (meaning they plant in accordance with moon cycles). We incorporated light tones with sage and muted sunset colors.
Notable elements: holographic foil stamp + blind deboss/blind letterpress (of the Leo constellation), holographic foil printed return address on both envelopes, digital printing on insert cards, custom envelope liner + custom postage stamps. Featured ring compliments of Marrow Fine.
